Ben found himself working in the family business, a reputable general contracting company specializing in building homes and garages. The company had a recurring need for dumpsters and portable toilets for their construction projects, which they typically rented from various suppliers.
It was during this time that Ben had an innovative idea: “Why rent when we can buy?” With this thought in mind, they decided to invest in their resources. Ben and his family purchased several trash dumpsters and portable toilets to cater to their company’s needs. However, they soon realized that when these units were not in use on job sites, they were simply taking up space in their yard.
To maximize the utility of their equipment, Ben made a significant decision – to make these units available for rent. And so, Ben’s Container and Rubbish was born. Today, the company boasts a fleet of 60 trash dumpsters, including 15 and 20-yard varieties, along with over 200 portable toilets.
